Founder Director & Chief Executive Officer
Motivated by the need to bring about constructive and meaningful social change, Dr. Soumitro Chakraborty, created a niche in the CSR and Sustainability industry and established Fiinovation in 2008. He has strategized and implemented various programmes across India and proved his mettle by converting challenges into opportunities by conducting thorough research to provide simple, strategic solutions to organisations.
Backed by a rich experience in the social sector, Soumitro serves on the board of several organizations as an advisor for corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. He is also a visiting faculty to some premier institutions including the Institute of Directors – “Masterclass for Directors” for ‘Sustainability – Corporate, Social and Environmental Responsibility’. Apart from his contribution in numerous publications, he has also participated at various events as a panelist, speaker, jury and moderator and has won many accolades for his innovative ideas and his dynamic leadership at Fiinovation.
His undeterred guidance and out-of-the–box thinking is instrumental in Fiinovation’s growth over the years.
He is currently an active Committee Member of the CII Northern Region: Regional Committee on Affirmative Action and Chairperson – Centre for CSR & Sustainability Excellence apart from being in the Advisory Council for World CSR Day and World Sustainability Congress.
Chief Operating Officer
Purnima has been instrumental in overall growth and strengthening of Fiinovation since 2010. She is responsible for managing the overall business development and managing partnerships with Civil Society Organizations.
Director – Programme
Debopam leads the programme management division and is instrumental in developing strategies for programme development and management. He is a health sector professional with expertise in Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health interventions.
Assistant Director – Resource
Niraj looks after conceptualization and development of environmental programmes and their implementation. He has over 7 years of extensive experience and has worked on various projects in the field of agriculture, climate change – mitigation and adaption, safe drinking water and watershed management.
Senior Manager – Monitoring & Evaluations
Shariq is a Programme Management professional. He leads monitoring & evaluation and impact assessment studies carried out by Fiinovation. He has over 12 years of extensive experience in programme management, monitoring & evaluation, and micro-finance with national and international civil society organizations and leads the M & E, Impact, Baseline, Need assignments on ground.
Head – Programme Operations
Anshuman is a management professsional managing programme operations at Fiinovation. He has over 5 years of experience in operations management in different industries such as Education, Health-Tech, IT and ITES.
Manager – Administration
Amit heads the administration department at Fiinovation and has been instrumental in developing organizational and financial strategies. He has over 9 years of extensive experience in Administration, Financial Management and Analysis.
General Manager-Client Support
At Fiinovation, Anand leads the client support management division. He is majorly responsible for strategizing client support mechanism and framework, aiming to maximize client satisfaction. His expertise is call center management, vendor management, complaint resolution and C-SAT management.
Senior Manager – Client Support
Brijesh leads the client support team at Fiinovation and is responsible for strategizing client support mechanism and framework. He has an extensive experience of over 10 years in client servicing & client support management.
Senior Manager – Operations
Reena Bhagi holds a specialization in Human Resources and Operations (MBA) and has worked with reputed organizations like BA Continuum India Pvt. Ltd and HCL BSERV. She brings 10 years of enriched experience in operations, HR and client management.
At Fiinovation, she primarily supports the organization in strategic planning for multiple departments, aimed at improving the operational systems, processes, and policies aligned with organization’s mission. She plays a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared towards operational excellence and effectiveness.
Manager – Content & Strategy
Vidhi is a corporate communications professional with close to 5 years of experience in content and PR, digital marketing and brand strategy. She holds a degree in Journalism and communication from Manipal University, Karnataka.
Across her professional stint, she has worked with communications agencies like Text 100 on clients across IT, lifestyle, and health tech namely IBM, Nimbuzz, and Woodland. Owing to her experience with 2 successful start-ups, such as healthkart.com and 1mg.com, she has gained extensive experience in endorsing new brands, aimed at brand visibility and user acquisition.
At Fiinovation, Vidhi would be responsible for content and communication strategy, largely focused on Brand recognition- via traditional media and social media, networking events and search engine optimization
Kamal Verma brings in two decades of work experience around children issues, with a thorough understanding of reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCH+A). He has deeply delved into saving the New Born Child through Improved Management of Birth Asphyxia. Professionally, he has been trained on Navjaat Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (NSSK), under Saving New Born lives in Uttar Pradesh through Improved Management of Birth Asphyxia at Department of Paediatrics under the aegis of J. N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with Save the Children, Uttar Pradesh funded by USAID.
At Fiinovation, he would focus on Client interaction (NGOs and Donors) to understand requirements and technicalities of the project to be designed, specifically in Health sector. Mr. Kamal would also contribute toward conceptualizing and drafting effective concept proposals with budgets.
Manju Gill is an MBA Finance, MA Sociology and holds a diploma in Sustainable Rural Development. She brings with her, 9 years of experience in the field of Cluster Development, Client Management, Government Liasioning, Proposal Management, and Skill Development Initiatives.
Over years, the rural and urban exposure has inclined her mind towards the social sector and it is her proclivity towards the field of social sector that has encouraged her to take the position of Sr. Manager – Livelihood at Fiinovation. She would be responsible for creating a virtual library for livelihood sector and develop new concepts for feasible implementation across Pan India, specifically on sustainable livelihood development, primarily focused at women empowerment, employment and unemployed youth.
